There are several ways to get part or all of your drug rehabilitation covered. For those who have military insurance (e.g., VA, TRICARE) you will need to contact your provider directly to see what you are eligible for. While both parts of TriCare (TriCare Standard and TriCare Extra) cover drug rehabilitation, only some VA benefits cover the expense of substance abuse rehabilitation. Once you have spoken with your military insurance provider (e.g., VA, TRICARE) and have a full understanding of what exactly they will cover regarding substance abuse treatment you can begin researching drug treatment centers. Be sure to speak to the billing department to make sure that they accept your military insurance (e.g., VA, TRICARE).
