Being qualified for Medicaid is not easy and only a certain group of those who meet the specifications are supplied with this type of insurance. Nationally, Medicaid is only available for a select number of low-income families or individuals who fall into their state's brackets of low-income eligibility. Each state determines its own rules of eligibility. To find a drug rehab program that accepts Medicaid as payment for treatment, the policy holder will need to contact their local Medicaid office in St. Petersburg and speak with a caseworker.
