There are several ways to get part or all of your drug rehabilitation covered. For those who want to use military insurance (e.g., VA, TRICARE) you will need to contact your provider directly to see what you are eligible for. While both parts of TriCare (TriCare Standard and TriCare Extra) cover drug rehabilitation, only some VA benefits cover the expense of substance abuse treatment. Once you have spoken with your military insurance representative (e.g., VA, TRICARE) and fully understand what they will cover regarding substance abuse treatment you can begin researching drug rehab centers.
