Acme - Criminal Justice Clients

Drug treatment is sometimes a part of a criminal justice clients court sentence. In order to get these clients the rehabilitation they need, there are a few steps that need to be followed before they can enroll into a drug or alcohol rehabilitation center. First, they need to determine if they are eligible for drug rehab while involved in the Acme, Pennsylvania criminal justice system. Their case is evaluated by a panel who determines if they are in need of drug treatment services and if so how much and what type is needed. Additionally, when they are screened for drug addiction problems, the client is also screened for mental health problems as well. Severity of addiction, mental health issues, criminal activity, sentence length and previous substance abuse history are all determining variables in the creation of a criminal justice treatment plan.
